User friendly student interface to house student field placements for licensing needs with accounts for the 3 roles of the placement: Student (ndus account), classroom Mentor (external), and Supervisor (ndus account). Field placement portal needs to have a place to enter field hours in a time log, have those hours approved, and have assessments available for Mentors and Supervisors to complete, allowing the student to view results. ePortfolio capabilities to showcase entire academic journey, with assessment results. Need to be able to send disposition rubrics externally, to be completed on non-account holders (pre-admit) Capability to provide feedback and evaluation of student work using rubrics. Faculty should be provided easy-to-manage approval queues that prompt them to review relevant student work and be able to assess a variety of coursework formats with a comprehensive view of progress. Software should provide a rubric creation tool and should also allow the loading of externally created rubrics. Data from rubric ratings should be rolled into higher level reporting of student learning outcomes. Individual rubric traits should be linkable to specific goals, outcomes, or standards. Ability to create multiple customized templates for placement site data (including contact information and site demographics) and cooperating staff data (including experience and credentials) to meet the needs of student teaching, clinical field experience, internships, and other remote educational experiences such as study abroad programs. Data output option needs to include comprehensive displays of assessment results on accreditation standards to compare program to program, including ethnicity and gender breakdowns for program improvement and accreditation reporting requirements. Capability of producing various data visualization options. Ability to link and track assessment data with departmental and academic goals to accreditation and university standards. Ability to support recurring assessments which demonstrate longitudinal progress and continuous improvement. Users need option to upload supporting files (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF), store them in a user- friendly manner that maintains role-based access, and link them to multiple assessment components. Ability to export data in multiple formats. Easily collect field experience assessments from cooperating site staff who are not associated with the University. Manage and report on placements, University supervisor assignments, cooperating site staff, and the status of applications and assessments based on multiple criteria, including location (state where site is located), academic program, and specific course requirement. Platform stability and minimal demands on end-user technical resources (RAM, Bandwidth) - connection loss, etc. Protection of user and organizational data including FERPA, HIPPA, encryption, and SSL.
