The Missouri Public Safety Director’s Office – MO Interoperability Center desires to continue to acquire Motorola Astro 25 IV/D (radio and data system) 24/7/365 monitoring, maintaining, IP/cyber security and ASTRO 25 IV/D system technology refreshment. The Missouri Department of Public Safety’s existing Astro 25 IV/D was completed by Motorola Solutions, Inc. in 2013. To protect the Missouri Department of Public Safety’s investment, Motorola Solutions, Inc. advises only using Motorola manufactured products provided by Motorola in the existing system. The products and services are proprietary to Motorola Solutions, Inc. As a result, this represents a proprietary requirement that meets the criteria as a single feasible source under RSMo 34.044 as the state is pursuing this acquisition as a Single Feasible Sources.
