3. Intent of these Services a. Contractor shall implement an inclusion mentorship program tailored to providing child care and early learning providers additional skills. The program shall ensure providers have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively support children with disabilities, developmental delays, and/or challenging behavioral needs. (1) The Contractor shall offer a number of initiatives to support the program, including but not limited to: (a) Specialized Training: ECE providers shall have access to two online, self-paced courses at no cost through a Learning Management System (LMS); (b) Virtual Training Sessions: IMPACT shall conduct four virtual training sessions to equip providers with essential tools and strategies for inclusive practices. (c) In-Person Training: At least one live training session held in Eastern Washington to provide hands-on learning experiences; and (d) Inclusive Classroom Rating Tool: 30 early learning schools across Washington state shall be invited to participate in more in-depth services, which will include access to IMPACT’s inclusive classroom rating tool to assess and improve their inclusive practices. (2) Services shall be provided to a range of Early Childhood Education settings including but not limited to licensed centers, family home centers, and part-day programs.
