1. Restore body panels and structural body components back to factory specifications requirements by either repairing or replacing parts as necessary. 2. Repair/replace current materials being used in the market. For example urethane, fiberglass, steel, and aluminum body panels 3. Ensure that new repair parts are be used unless approved in writing by the Fleet Director. All parts must match the manufacturer’s specifications. 4. Realize that Fleet Services retains the right to supply parts at their discretion 5. Realize that the Fleet Director retains the right to have the vehicle repaired elsewhere at their discretion if deemed necessary. Examples: Repair time was xcessive; an excessive amount of time is quoted before start of the repair or vehicle warranty mandates repairs at an authorized dealer service shop. 6. Other: Possible transportation to vendor site if necessary (towing) Contractor must, at a minimum: 1. Occupy a physical building/repair shop 2. Be able to complete field repairs/mobile repairs 3. Be within a reasonable distance to Dawson County 4. Have a mechanic that has at least two (2) years job experience/training in body repairs 5. Training certifications are preferred but not required 6. Provide proof of purchase for any markup on parts. (Dawson County reserves the right to supply parts at the Fleet Maintenance Director’s discretion. 7. Provide maintenance/repair cost estimates prior to each job, to include the turn-around time, and receive approval to proceed with work by the Fleet Maintenance Director. 8. Provide turn-around time on all maintenance/repairs at time of request by the Fleet Maintenance staff. (If the Contractor is unable to meet the reasonable time constraints on vehicles’ needs, Dawson County reserves the right to outsource the work to another vendor.)
