A. The Project consists of selective demolition and interior renovations to the Lower Level at 84 South Main Street, Cheshire, CT, as shown and described on Contract Documents prepared by Jacunski Humes Architects, LLC, Berlin, CT B. The Work consists of architectural, interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection scope for the completion of a new Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for the Town of Cheshire, CT. Alterations to existing construction and new construction of the new Emergency Operations Center includes non-combustible construction to provide program space for deployment during emergencies or natural disasters as needed by the Town of Cheshire and their emergency management / public safety officials. C. The project site area comprises town-owned land within a fully occupied facility. The facility will remain occupied during all stages of construction and construction activities shall be made safe at all times.
