The contractor shall provide repair services including parts, materials, and labor under the contract for various manufacturer brands of commercial kitchen equipment for various locations. The equipment, including, but not limited to, ovens, cooking appliances, dishwashing machines, steamers, toasters, griddles, tilt skillets, refrigeration units and other commercial kitchen equipment. At the request of the facility designee the contractor shall evaluate the equipment in need of repair and provide a service recommendation, and complete repairs upon approval. Contractor should also make cost-effective recommendations based on current condition and repair history for equipment requiring duplicate repairs. This can include photos or written descriptions justifying repeated service. Equipment is not to be removed from the location without the written approval of the PantherDining representative. Only when approval has been received in writing granting authorization to remove equipment, Contractor shall complete the “Equipment on Loan or Repair Form” provided by the facility property coordinator. In the event the equipment is taken offsite for repair, then deemed unrepairable, Contractor must return equipment to PantherDining facility for proper disposal.
