This contract consists of roadside tree trimming/removal on an as needed basis in Anne Arundel County, both directions of assigned roads including shoulders of roadway up to and including both sides of ditch line on MDOT SHA right of way-maintained areas. The work will be bid on an 8hr workday basis, not including travel time. Work activities include trimming, chipping, and/or removal of trees by use of aerial bucket, chipper, chainsaws, etc. The successful contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, transportation, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in accordance with this specification and scope of work in the manner called for, and to the satisfaction of the State Highway Administration. Vendors are to use best practices established in the service industry to perform this work. All work to be done in a safe manner, adhering to OSHA and MOSH regulations and standards. Vendor shall be insured to perform work in the State of Maryland.
