HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for as needed plumbing services for Austin State Hospital. Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB. The required services to be provided are to include but not limited to the following: a) Plumbing maintenance labor for the repair/replacement of all related and applicable services listed below on an as-needed basis. b) Maintenance, installation, and repair of facility sanitary plumbing systems that connects sanitary fixtures (toilets, basins, taps, sinks, showers) and appliances (dishwashers, washing machines) to a disposal system or below-ground sanitary drainage system. c) Services to include labor and material for work related to freshwater service lines (including all manners of filtration/softening/treatment systems), irrigations systems, gray water and black water drain lines, as well as natural gas lines. d) Services to include comprehensive plumbing evaluations, work on existing plant as well as new construction, locating services of buried service lines, sewer mains cleared, inspected, and cleaned. Cleaning to be performed by hydro jetting sewer lines. Inspections to be completed by use of an inspection camera. e) Services also to include recirculation systems, pressure regulating valves, backflow prevention and the inspection and certification of the backflow preventers. Services to include grease trap and septic pumping/vacuuming, sewer ejector system work, and be the owner operator of the necessary equipment needed for the repair/replacement of either all or part of buried lines.
