3.4. Trenching and Saw Cutting The Contractor(s) shall provide trenching and concrete saw cutting services, as required, including shoring and bracing. Trenching is not expected to exceed 6' deep and 2' wide. Saw cutting is not expected to exceed 6" thick concrete; and/or asphalt; rebar may be present. In both cases, Contractor(s) shall return surface to as close as possible to the original condition. Contractor Authorization to saw cut or core drill concrete must be approved by the City Representative prior to commencement of project to ensure no damage is done to post tensioned concrete. 3.5. Rooter and Drain Cleaning Services Defined • Regular hourly labor rate includes all labor and equipment to provide complete job of rooter service and may include removal and replacement of fixtures and pipes. • Equipment for jetter service up to 6" with appropriate G.P.M capability • Snake length up to and including 200'. • Equipment for camera services shall include the latest recording technology, labor and equipment. Camera must be fiber optic, 75' cabable • Locator services will mark lines according to industry standards. • Excacation and removal and replacement of failed or damaged water or wastewater lines. 3.6. Clean up The Contractor shall always keep the contract area, including storage areas used by the Contractor, free from accumulation of waste material or rubbish and, before to completion of work, remove any rubbish from the premises and all tools, scaffolding, equipment, and materials not property of the City. Upon completion of the repair, the Contractor shall leave the work and premises in clean, neat, and work-like condition. From time to time the Contractor may be required to move existing furniture in the work area. It will be the Contractor's responsibility to handle this task satisfactorily and return the furniture where originally situated after the required work is completed. The Contractor shall exercise caution at all times for the protection of person and property. Safety provisions for all applicable laws and ordinances shall be strictly observed. The City representatives may require the Contractor to discontinue potentially hazardous work practices upon notice. All debris and any other waste matter removed from the contact area shall be transported and disposed of in compliance with federal, state, county and City laws and regulations. All material shall be covered while in transport to prevent spilling.
