The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a pool of qualified vendors to provide permanent and temporary fencing services as needed by the City. The City anticipates a variety of fencing services work, including permanent and temporary fencing, and associated gates and/or installation services. Fencing work would be small jobs, all less than $200,000, and are not intended to include major structural work that requires architectural or engineering design. In some cases, City departments may want to purchase material from the vendor. Vendors must adhere to standards of the Chain Link Manufacturers Institute for “Galvanized Steel Chain Link Fence Fabric” and CHAIN LINK FENCE MANUFACTURERS INSTITUTE PRODUCT MANUAL, Standard Guide for Metallic-Coated Steel Chain Link Fence & Fabric, and City of Seattle Standards listed in Section 4, Specifications and Scope of Work
