A. Contractor shall supply and install new unit to mount on the existing angle iron steel stand with minor wood rail bracing (similar to existing). This will include parts, fittings, and rebuild kits to connect to the existing piping if needed. B. Contractor shall connect to and adapt to the existing roof ducting (elbow) at the unit, reseal accessible duct portions. C. Contractor shall connect to, reroute, and extend the existing 220V one (1) phase electrical line to the new unit. Utilize existing electrical supply line and circuit breaker, if possible. D. Contractor shall connect to, reroute, and extend the existing gas supply line to the unit with a flex connector & sediment trap. Utilize existing gas supply line, if possible. E. Contractor shall PVC (painted) condensate drain line with trap, clean out and blocking to the rain gutter or roof edge. Utilize existing programmable thermostat & existing control wiring, if possible. F. Contractor shall utilize the existing ducting, inspect & advise, pending access. Duct sealing or modifications, if required. G. Provide temporary move and cool unit to keep, server room cool during the installation period. H. Where applicable, Contractor is to seek any public utility rebates and pass the cost savings on to the California Highway Patrol. I. Contractor shall start-up and test unit to ensure proper operation and to make any adjustments needed. J. Contractor shall provide on-site training to CHP staff on the operation and functions of the newly installed HVAC unit. K. Contractor shall provide two copies of Operation and Maintenance Manuals to the CHP on-site contact. L. Contractor is responsible for obtaining any permits required for the installation of the HVAC unit. M. Contractor shall remove all debris, including packaging materials from the jobsite daily. N. Contractor shall warranty work for a period of one year after installation and provide manufacturer’s warranty on equipment installed. O. The replacement equipment and installation must be compliant with the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 6, regulations.
