Scope of Work: The City of Gainesville is requesting bids for conversion services for a 2020 International HX615. The project involves removing the existing Meyer Body (Serial Number: #1995250), loading it onto a trailer, shipping it back to the City of Gainesville yard, and unloading it upon arrival. Then preparing the truck for the installation of a new Roll-Off body that meets the specifications outlined below. Tasks to be Performed: 1. Remove the existing Meyer Manure Spreader Body (SN#1995250) from the 2020 International HX615. 2. Load the removed body onto a trailer. 3. Ship the body back to the City of Gainesville yard and unload it. Preparation and Installation of Roll-Off Body: 1. Prep the body for the installation of a new Roll-Off body. 2. Install a Roll-Off body that meets the following specifications: • 60,000# capacity Roll-Off hoist with outside rail, capable of loading 22 ft. containers. • Inside air controls and 5-spool outside manual controls. • 48" steel toolbox. • Tandem axle with T/P fenders. • Hard-plumbed air assist ICC bumper. • Approach ramps with ratchet H/D straps. • Taper platform with control valve cover. • All LED lighting. • Pintle hitch-ready apron. • Huck bolt mounted and painted black with decals and reflective tape. • Pioneer RP4500SARG Rack and Pinion Tarper with adjustable gantry.
