The Parks Division utility locator is required to: 1. Receive all emergency and short-notice tickets from Diggers Hotline via the Parks utility locating software (KorTerra). 2. Receive non-emergency tickets via the Parks utility locating software (KorTerra) forwarded by Parks Division staff. 3. Use the City’s Mapping application to view Parks Division utility mapping. 4. Mark Parks-owned utilities (a variety of electric, telecommunications, gas, sewer and water) in a timely manner for tickets received, according to standards set forth in statutes and professional practice. 5. Occasionally mark Parks utilities outside of the Diggers Hotline process, as needed by the Parks Division, subject to the locator’s availability, and at the contracted hourly rate. 6. Notify the Parks Division if significant discrepancies are found between the utility mapping and what the locator believes could be the correct utility location. 7. Provide detailed billing to the Parks Division including Diggers Hotline ticket numbers worked on and a cost breakdown of any services performed beyond the base price per ticket.
