Four [4] ambient air monitoring shelters to house and secure regulatory grade ambient air monitoring equipment in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations. All shelters must have the following features: Features: • A 100-amp breaker box or larger. • Prewired with lights, interior outlets, and two [2] exterior outlets. • Be weatherproof and temperature controlled and maintain a stable temperature between 68°F and 86°F year-round, with minimally a R15 insulation rating. • Have a level roof, or level roof platform on which air sampling equipment will permanently reside. • Shelters with a level roof must have features that protect the roof from damage from being walked on and from the permanent installation of equipment that may weigh up to 100 Ibs. • Shelters with a roof platform must be at least 5 ft x 7.5 ft for all four [4] shelters. • Shelter roof must be made of materials that allow the user to drill holes (up to 2 inches) through to the interior for the installation of equipment. The roof materials must also allow for easy sealing around these holes to prevent water intrusion. • The shelters roofs must be able to withstand harsh winters with heavy snow. • Have safe and secure roof or roof platform access for routine staff access with removeable OSHA-type guard rails. • Transportable. ..
