Provide comprehensive student assistance program for students attending York Technical College designed to enhance student health and safety in the education environment and to assist students with a variety of individual, couples, and family services to maximize their retention and educational, career, and personal success. Coverage period: Annually Provide 24/7 access to professional Counselors via phone, email, or an app. Range of topics/issues may include, but not limited to: Trauma/crisis counseling Anger management Stress/Anxiety Depression Grief Provide couples and family counseling for students as well as group counseling opportunities. Provide consultation and referrals for faculty and staff to discuss/refer students. Provide a diagnosis(es) for students upon a student’s request. Provide evaluations of students to determine if their attendance in a classroom or other educational setting is appropriate and safe. Provide promotional materials that the College can use to promote the services to faculty, staff, and students. Provide free professional consultation to assist with planning for or responding to sudden or traumatic events. Provide onsite critical incident response services on a fee-for-service basis if needed to assist faculty, staff, and students after traumatic events. Maintain confidentiality of all student information including Family Educational Rights Privacy Act (FERPA) compliance. Provide quarterly utilization reports and account management calls. Provide a minimum of three (3) free professional counseling sessions (in-person, online, phone/chat) per issue per student. Provide work-life services and resources online that include financial and legal resources.
