• Offerors must provide closed captioning services, transcriptions of those services and live streaming captioning services. No alternates will be accepted for this service. • Accurate, readable transcripts of digitally recorded class lectures • For captioning and transcription work, bidder shall provide final copies of transcripts to individual students receiving services in no longer than 48 hours with 24 hours being the preferred response time. • Qualified captionist(s) • Must have experience in providing captioning services for higher education • All bidders should be able to supply business setting (teleconference calls, staff meetings, training sessions), in conventions (workshops and plenaries), in the schools (classroom learning and meetings), on broadcast television and for Webcasts. • Bidder shall provide a quote for services in terms of an hourly rate. • CART services shall be billed with one hour minimum and then in 30-minute increments thereafter. • Clemson University reserves the right to cancel a reservation for captioning services without charge if the cancellation is indicated at least 24 hours in advance. • Clemson University reserves the right to materially participate in skills evaluation and to accept or reject the services of any individual captionist. • Must be compatible with iCAP and able to provide live streaming captioning • Students who utilize these services will have a laptop, internet (wifi), usb microphone, and access to Skype. • Provide real-time remote captioning as required for curricular and co-curricular activities. • Provide transcripts of captioning and/or to students in a timely manner (typically within 48 hours, but 24 hours is preferred). • Provide captioning for university-wide events as needed. Graduations, lectures etc. • Services will adhere to written policies and procedures governing the delivery of services, including the compliance with federal, state or other applicable laws and regulations. All Privacy State and Federal Laws Apply for all personnel and Students. • The lowest cost, responsive and responsible submission may be requested to provide live/streaming captioning capabilities and references prior to award. • Each invoice must be itemized to clearly reflect contract rates, contract number, date, Clemson University contact requesting services and time of services. Successful offer(s) shall ensure accurate routing of billing. Invoice may need to be sent to the department hosting the club/event/outing.
