The Vendor will provide: 1. A qualified mental health provider or substance abuse counselor • Vendor will also ensure that all site staff possess and maintain all appropriate certifications and licenses necessary for their duties • Up to 50% of mental healthcare can be provided virtually/by video 2. Assessment and screening of incarcerated individuals to determine their suitability for participation in the program • Vendor will utilize the following screening tools: i. Urine drug screen (UDS) ii. Opioid Use Disorder Screen (OUDS) iii. American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria • Vendor will submit screening results to NCSO programs director for final approval on all potential program participants before enrolling those individuals within the program • Vendor will assist program participants in establishing SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) goals that align with their recovery objectives 3. Individualized treatment and program discharge plans based on screening results • Treatment plans will incorporate the following evidence-based modalities, as deemed appropriate by Vendor and NCSO programs director: i. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) ii. Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) iii. Motivational interviewing (MI) iv. Contingency management strategies (CM) v. Modified 12-step programming (AA/NA)...
