Perform annual backflow tests and certification on fourteen (4) backflow devices located at and on the grounds of the Cemetery. These tests will be IAQ with EPA, Title 17 and 22 of the California Code of Regulations standards. 2. Be responsible for supplying all equipment to perform tests. 3. Conduct basic on-site cleaning if the initial tests fail. 4. Meet or exceed state testing procedures and water authority requirements. 5. Perform all work to industry standards and complete work in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. 6. Notify the Contract Manager immediately of any failed tests that have resulted in illegal cross connections, incorrect installations, and any other potential hazards. 7. Notify the Contract Manager of any recommended repairs and obtain approval prior to commencement of repair work. 8. Tag each assembly with the test date and the tester’s information. 9. Remove all equipment, trash, and debris when leaving the job site. Cleaning of equipment may take place in the janitor hopper room. Any cleaning of equipment on State property requires the approval of the Chief of Plant Operation. 10. Complete paperwork documenting the backflow testing and provide such documentation within 2- 3 weeks after backflow testing completion to the Contract Manager and the local water district.
