1. Remove the residential structure and other accessory structures. 2. Remove all foundation walls to two (2) foot below grade. 3. Clean out basement, if any, and break up basement floor, if any. 4. Remove garage slab, if any, and driveway slab, if any. 5. Backfill basement with approved sand product to one (1) foot below grade. The top one (1) foot of cover must be of soils suitable to grow grass. 6. Grade the entire yard as needed to provide positive drainage from this and adjacent properties. 7. Remove all dead trees, bushes and shrubs on property, including cleaning and grubbing unless specified otherwise. 8. Remove all debris from property, including abandoned vehicles and appliances. Costs associated with the removal and disposal of these shall be included in lump sum bid for demolition. 9. Remove concrete steps, porch and entrance walks to a minimum depth of six inches (6”) below adjacent grade and backfill with soils suitable to grow grass. 10. Restore the surface by seeding the cleared site in compliance with Article 2601.04C (urban mixture) of the 2001 standard specifications for highway and bridge construction of the Iowa Department of Transportation.
