TRUCK CHASSIS: WARRANTY: 5 yr bumper to bumper and 5 yr-200,000 mile engine (Cummins PP1) including engine after treatment and 5 yr transmission. to include all parts, labor, and towing on transmission, rear axles, any internally lubricated parts of diesel engine and including starter, alternator, fuel pump, fuel injectors, turbocharger, water pump, all engine electronics including chassis wiring to and from engine and transmission, modules, relays, solenoid, sensors, chassis wiring, switches, dash gauges, HVAC, etc. ENGINE: The engine shall be a diesel fueled 2025 compliant Cummins PX9, 380 hp minimum, using SCR technology for compliance, and have a 7 gallon minimum DEF tank. Must have a Horton fan drive clutch. Must have a full variable speed governor and remote mounted provision for body builder installation of P.T.O and remote engine speed-up and plug-ins. Engine & chassis must accept a crankshaft driven front mount hydraulic pump. Chassis shall be equipped with crankshaft adapter and all provisions for mounting a front hydraulic pump. Maximum torque output from engine to 4500 RDS Allison transmission shall not exceed 1450 ft/lbs. Must have battery disconnect switch on the side of the battery box to kill all power. Battery box shall be cantilever aluminum BOC w/fiberglass cover, mounted on LH side. Shall have jump start terminals under hood. MUST HAVE EASILY ACCEPTABLE PRIMARY FUEL FILTER, WITH NO OBSTICALS SUCH AS HOSES AND HARNESSES, TO ALLOW FOR EASE OF SERVICING. WEIGHT & WHEEL BASE: The unit shall have a gross vehicle weight rating of not less than 66,000 lbs. shall have a wheelbase of 182” with 47” tag axle spacing. STEERING: Turning diameter of chassis is not to exceed 82.5 feet to corner of bumper right or left. TURNING RADIUS MUST BE STATED IN BID. AXLES AND SPRINGS: The unit must have 5” drop Meritor wide track front axle, capacity of 20,000 lbs. and oil bath type seals. The front axle must have capacity of not less than 10,000 lbs. per spring. The unit must have a tandem single speed rear axle with not less than 46,000 lb. capacity. Tandem shall be Meritor RT46-160P, with full locking differentials. Gear ratio shall be 5.38. The rear suspension shall be a Hendrickson HMX-460 with integrated shock absorbers walking beam type requiring no center bushings. Beams shall be 54”. The rear bolsters must have a capacity of not less than 23,000 lbs. per spring.
