A. Sports Camps and Clinics: • Provide a variety of sports camps and clinics, including, but not limited to, basketball, soccer, softball, flag football, track and field, volleyball, cheerleading and other relevant sports. (Please refer to 1.3 D. d. under Minimum Qualifications for the expected number of program offerings per calendar year). Please note, tennis may currently be excluded from the offerings, as the City has a separate contract for youth tennis programs. B. After-School Programs: • Design and implement after-school programs that introduce children to various sports in a positive and engaging manner as needed. • Foster a love for active and healthy lifestyles through these programs. C. Skill-Building Activities: • Demonstrate skill-building activities included in curriculum as stated in the Minimum Qualifications section, that teach fundamental sports skills and important life lessons such as teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship through a variety of games and exercises. D. Inclusive Age Range: • Offer programs catering to children from 1.5 years old to high school age, ensuring appropriate developmental activities for each age group. E. Community Engagement: • Engage with the community by offering programs at select county parks. • Collaborate with the City of Spokane Parks Department to advertise and promote these programs in their activity guides.
