The intent and purpose of this agreement, is to provide landscape maintenance services for the Department of Park, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) and Pasadena Water and Power (PWP). The properties contained in this contract are owned and/or managed by the City of Pasadena. Sites include Parks, Libraries, Median and Traffic Islands, Water Well Facilities, Water Booster Plants, Water Reservoirs, Water Treatment Plants, Power Substations, Power Receiving Stations, Power Plant, Water and Power Department Properties, and other areas of responsibility. Most sites are easily accessible but others are remote and may require coordination with the City Contract Supervisor to gain access. During, and at the end of the contract period, all plant material shall be in a healthy, growing condition. Work generally consists of litter and debris removal and general landscape maintenance. Maintenance at these sites will include all or some of the following: litter removal in hardscape areas, the maintenance of turf areas, landscaped areas, and vines as detailed in Exhibit A, Books 1 thru 3. Other miscellaneous landscape maintenance work may be assigned on an “As-Needed” basis at the discretion of the City.
