The New Hampshire Department of Education (NHED), Bureau of Special Education Support (BSES), is seeking a qualified applicant to develop, as well as deliver, evidence-based professional learning and resources for K-12 educators and administrators, with the primary goal of creating inclusive learning environments that are accessible, rigorous, responsive, and engaging for all students. This professional learning will integrate the latest advancements in the cognitive neuroscience of learning, individual differences, and the principles of universal design for educational technologies and multimedia. By providing a deep understanding of key areas such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II, assistive technology (AT) supports, accessible educational materials (AEM), and least restrictive environments (LRE), this initiative will empower educators to meet the diverse needs of all learners. In addition, the collaboration will ensure the development of practical tools, resources, and training programs that support implementation of evidence-based practices, enhance family engagement, and foster statewide collaboration to ensure sustainability.
