Renewable Energy Resources in CAISO’s Queue Cluster 15 The City of Anaheim (hereinafter referred to as “Anaheim”) is seeking competitive proposals for renewable energy and renewable-energy-plus-storage projects. Anaheim is seeking resources to fulfill its energy goals and allocate Commercial Interest Points (CIP) to selected projects consistent with the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) Interconnection Process Enhancements. Renewable projects must be consistent with the California Renewable Energy Resources Program (Public Resources Code Section 25740 et seq.) and the California Renewables Portfolio Standard Program (Public Utilities Code Section 399.11 et seq.). Anaheim invites proposals for renewable energy resources with commercial operation date (COD) or delivery starting in 2025 and beyond towards the pathway to 100% fossil-fuel free electricity by 2045, to help the Anaheim meet its California Renewable Portfolio Standards (“CA RPS”) as outlined in California Public Utilities Code (PUC) § 399.30 and adopted by Anaheim City Council, the Anaheim RPS Policy – Procurement Plan and Enforcement Program, 2017 Update, 2018 Integrated Resources Plan, and 2023 Integrated Resources Plan
