Scope of work shall include, but not limited to repairs to comfort stations, pavilions, cul-de-sac wooden posts, and other incidental work. Comfort Stations in areas 1-5 (7 total structures): - Replace all galvanized steel structural brackets, nuts, bolts, and washers - If bracket is embedded in concrete, only replace nuts, bolts, and washers - Remove debris and clean wood beams/purlins/purgola, restore rotten wood with wood hardener and filler to prepare for painting. - Replace 400 LF (per structure) of wood beams/purlins Pavilion in area 1: - Remove all benches and tables within pavilion (confirmed with DLNR Historic Preservation) - Wood from bench posts shall be removed at least 2” below top of concrete slab and infilled with concrete to match existing slab elevation - Concrete table legs shall be removed and slab to be flush to match existing concrete level in order to prevent uneven surfaces - Replace all structural brackets, nuts, bolts, and washers - If bracket is embedded in concrete, only replace nuts, bolts, and washers - Replace 400 LF of wood beams/purlins - Remove pergola joists and slats at center and ends of pavilion - Remove light canisters
