The contractor will complete the following as a part of the Base Bid: • Clean corrosion from existing air handling units AHU 1,2,3,4, 5 & 7, paint with primer, and then exterior rated paint product, similar to the existing color. • Install new rubber roof on AHU 1,2,3,4, 5 & 7. • Remove existing cracked and deteriorated internal and external caulking on AHU 1,2,3,4,5 & 7 and clean area. Reseal with new caulking around cabinet walls, roofs, and around the flange of the intake louvers. • Replace seals and gasketsto prevent water penetration on air handling units AHU 1,2,3,4, 5 & 7 • Remove and replace any damaged insulation around air handling units AHU 1,2,3,4, 5 & 7 • Drill drain holesin the bottom of the sill pan below each louver on air handling units AHU 1,2,3,4, 5 & 7 • Replace MERV 10 pre filters and MERV 13 final filters in air handing units with MERV 8 pre filters MERV 15 final filters on all air handlers (AHUs 1-7). Filters should be compatible with the existing frames. • Purchase and install Permatron PreVent Screens (BHC U-1) to the exterior of all air handling equipment (AHUs 1-7). Screens to be installed on the outside air intakes for AHU-1 through AHU-7, and the 4 sides of each associated condensing unit (ACCU-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7).
