The consultant will be responsible for meeting key milestones, all of which must be completed in compliance with the requirements of the Village’s EECBG program grant agreement: 1. Baseline Energy Assessment: • Completion Deadline: January 2025 • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the Village’s current energy consumption. • Identify energy sources, greenhouse gas emissions, and areas for improvement in energy efficiency. • Deliverable: Baseline Energy Inventory Report that includes data on energy usage, emissions, and opportunities for improvement. 2. Stakeholder Engagement: • Ongoing Engagement: Throughout the project • Conduct broad-based community engagement, including workshops, surveys, and public meetings, to gather input on community energy needs and goals. • Ensure participation from environmental justice communities, low-income households, and other vulnerable populations. • Deliverable: Community Engagement Summary that captures input from key stakeholders, particularly vulnerable groups, and documents their feedback on the energy plan. 3. Goal Setting: • Completion Deadline: July 2025 • Assist the Village of Westchester in establishing measurable energy efficiency, greenhouse gas emissions reduction, and renewable energy targets based on baseline assessments and stakeholder feedback.
