The objective of this Scope of Work is to provide a strategic roadmap for future growth needed to achieve a flexible, reliable, comprehensive and cost-effective Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) management strategy. The IT environment is made up of systems including, but is not limited to, desktop PCs, peripherals, laptops, networking infrastructure, servers, backup devices, switches and software. The OT environment is made up of systems including, but is not limited to, industrial computers (PLCs), SCADA and associated networks for automation and system control of the WRF and the Collections System. Ironhouse does not currently have in-house resources to support IT or OT systems. These services are provided by outside consultants. A Staffing Needs Analysis is being conducted by the District to identify the need for internal resources for IT and OT support. There are 27 full time staff employed by Ironhouse. The future technology environments should be self-sustainable and transparent to most users at the District. The action plan shall include specific recommended actions with budgetary cost estimates and a schedule of recommended deployment or activities over the next ten (10) years. The Scope of Work anticipates five steps to develop the Plan: Assess Existing Technology Environments, Identify Opportunities for Improvement, Recommend Actions, Deliver the Final Technology Master Plan and Follow up. All deliverables will include an electronic copy in MSWord, MS Excel, Visio, and MS Project as appropriate for each element of each deliverable as well in PDF format. All electronic copies must be enabled for editing by the District.
