University Advancement is seeking a consulting firm to provide campaign counsel, communications, and support upcoming campaign planning efforts for the Athletics Program and the Sam Houston Memorial Museum and Republic of Texas Presidential Library. With SHSU now competing in NCAA Division I, there is an urgent need to update and modernize athletic facilities to support student athletes and enhance the fan experience. The need to expedite the case for support for SHSU Athletics is priority for the front-line fundraising teams. The Sam Houston Memorial Museum and Republic of Texas Presidential Library is one of a kind and celebrates the life and legacy of General Sam Houston. Donors who are passionate about Texas history are vital in efforts to preserve and enhance the museum, ensuring its historical site can be enjoyed for future generations. The university seeks support to: 1. Help build a more resonant message to engage donors and solidify the framework for a case to support these priorities; addressing Athletics as the first priority in Phase 1, and addressing the Museum as the second priority in Phase 2 work. 2. Equip campaign leadership and volunteers with the communications required to engage prospects throughout the gift pyramid. 3. Work with Daniel P. Saftig Consulting to ensure continuity between counseling units.
