Item 460 HOT MIX ASPHALT PAVEMENT TON GENERAL: This type of pavement shall be composed of mineral aggregate, mineral filler (if required) and bituminous material. The materials supplied must conform in all respects to Section M3.11.00 to M3.11.09 inclusive Hot Mix Asphalt Standard Specification as published by the Department of Public Works, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, February 25, 2010. Edition and all addenda thereto. PRICE ADJUSTMENTS FOR HOT MIX ASPHALT PAVEMENT This Contract contains price adjustments for Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement (Top & Binder Course), Diesel Fuel and Portland Cement. The base price for Liquid Asphalt shall be $665.00 per ton. Take notice that this price adjustment applies ONLY to the actual virgin Liquid Asphalt content in the mixture placed on the job in accordance with Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges, Division III, Section M3.11.03 and ONLY the Portland Cement content in the concrete mixture placed on the job. Duration – December 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 City will pickup Hot Mix Asphalt from plant/facility by the ton. The plant location must be within 15 miles of the City of Lowell, 365 days a year. The minimum pickup amount will be one ton.
