Contractor shall provide Services and Deliverables to the County of San Diego as described below: A. Update the Code. Contractor will update, maintain, and publish all Supplements to the Code and Electronic Code, ensuring that both are up to date in accordance with the following: 1. Step 1 – County Request a. County shall forward to Contractor copies of the adopted Ordinances and Board Policies upon final enactment by County. These documents will be in Word and PDF format. b. After receiving copies of the Ordinances and Board Policies, Contractor shall reply to County by email, acknowledging receipt of the material. Contractor shall also provide County with a Disposition List outlining all submitted materials to confirm what was received is accurate. c. At the County’s sole discretion, County may start the update process immediately or hold legislation pending a schedule provided by County. 2. Step 2 – Editing: a. Contractor’s editorial staff shall study new Ordinances and Board Policies in conjunction with the existing provisions of the Code. b. Pages of the Code containing provisions that are specifically repealed or amended by ordinance shall be changed to remove such repealed or amended provisions and to insert the new Ordinances. c. Should Contractor detect conflicts, inconsistencies or duplication in the Code while incorporating the new Ordinances or Board Policies, Contractor shall notify County so that remedial action may be taken. d.
