The Town of Guilford’s Tree Advisory Board(TAB)is soliciting proposals for the purchase, delivery and installation of +/- 108 street trees (2’ – 2-1/2” cal., B&B) to be planted in one or two phases, spring and fall in 2025. Post installation maintenance will include one year of watering during the growing season(s).The tree planting will be conducted in front businesses around the Guilford Green on Boston Street, Broad Street, and Whitfield Street. Additional trees will be planted on Church Street and Water Street. The proposed planting sites are generally the tree lawns between the road and the sidewalk with Twenty (20) of the trees being installed in existing tree wells. See Exhibit A Town Center Tree Planting Location listing and attached site plans for tree plantings sites. The specific planting locations will be staked out by the Town. Existing trees and grates in those locations will be removed and tree pits temporarily backfilled for public safety by the Town prior to Contractor’s installation.
