4.1 DESCRIPTION: Design and build a rapid response patrol boat. 4.2 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Hull Length 24’ (does not include outboard engines, engine guard, or rub rails) 2. Beam 9’ 3. Trailer weight 1,900 lbs. approx. 10. Combined boat and trailer weight 6,300 lbs. approx. 4.3 HULL DESIGN AND OUTFITTING: 1. RHIB style “V” hull with 18-degree deadrise at the transom. 2. Bottom plating 1/4” 5086-H116 3. Side plating .190” 5086-H32 4. Drop down boarding access door at the bow. Bow door to include upgraded hardware on cables to prevent breakage. 5. Dive relief cutouts on both port and starboard sides of the vessel. 6. Deck plating .124” 7. Keel guard to have an additional ¼” 5086-H116 plate. 8. Self-bailing decks to provide sufficient water egress. 9. Sacrificial anodes attached to the hull for electrolysis protection. 10. 3/4” aluminum double pad eye incorporated into the keel. 11. 1 ½” pipe safety railings installed throughout the vessel. 12. Six (6) 10” welded aluminum cleats. 13. Deck structure and component material will be aluminum and shall consist of 5086 aluminum alloy with thicknesses of .190” and be fully welded to the hull and all deck height transverse bulkheads and longitudinal girders. The floor will be supported by 2x2 square tubing. 14. Wing foam collar system around the gunwales and will include dive relief cutouts on both port and starboard sides. 15. One (1) 2000GPH automatic bilge pump located at the transom. Bilge pump to operate in the automatic and manual modes. Bilge pump will be wired directly to the hot side of the battery switch. 16. One (1) threaded drain plug. 17. One (1) tow post. (Extra tall height) 18. Folding boarding ladder mounted on engine bracket at stern. 19. Life ring and bracket mounted aft near engines.
