The City of Goose Creek is requesting proposals from qualified landscape companies to provide professional landscaping maintenance and quarterly planting for all City entrance signs. We strive to enhance the City’s character, identity, and warmth. The city will seek to find a company that will carry on the beauty and take pride in their finished product.The selected company will be required to perform basic services on all City entrance signs to include but not limited to: • Removal of litter • Removing of weeds • Maintenance of existing plantings o Contractor is expected to maintain the existing plantings in accordance with current horticultural practices for healthy and invigorating growth. o Fertilizer / soil amendments should be added when necessary. • Pinestraw / Brown Mulch o Pinestraw shall be applied 4”-6” in depth in the Spring & Fall. o Mulch shall be applied 2”-3” in depth in the Spring & Fall to the signs that currently have mulch. o All weeds should be removed prior to applying pinestraw / mulch
