The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES), under the Winnipesaukee River Basin Program (WRBP), owns and operates the regional wastewater collection and treatment facilities in the Lakes Region. The WRBP is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to enter into a contract with the Department to provide generator rental and emergency repair services on an as-needed basis. The proposed work may involve emergency repairs to any of the generator sets providing emergency power permanently located at twelve (12) pump stations maintained by the WRBP, at the Franklin wastewater treatment plant, and two portable units; plus, rental of a portable generator(s) as necessary. The WRBP diesel generators and one propane-fired generator provide emergency electrical power when normal utility power is interrupted. It is essential that a suitable back-up source of power is always available.
