The turbine to be removed is a Siva 250-50 turbine on a 50-meter bolted steel monopole tower. The intent of this scope of work is to safely remove and dispose of the turbine and its related wiring and controls from the top of the foundation up. The turbine is bolted to the foundation. The turbine tower, nacelle, blades, controls, and wires that are bolted to the foundation shall be carefully removed and disposed of. Wires and conduits protruding from the foundation shall be cut flush from the foundation. Removal of the foundation, anchoring frame, and grounding system are not part of the scope of this project. Once the turbine has been removed from the site, the contractor shall retain title to all equipment that has been removed. The Town of Hanover and its employees make no warranty as to the functionality of the turbine and its components should the contractor choose to repurpose the turbine or its components at another location.
