The DWP desires to understand the condition of each of its reservoirs in regard to the remaining useful life of the coating systems, as well as the structural integrity of each reservoir and foundation. The Consultant will be required to inspect the interior and exterior of each reservoir for defects in the coating system, corrosion, shell thickness, and assess each reservoir for its seismic capacity. The Consultant will also be required to inspect and assess the condition of the reservoir foundation, identifying any areas of concern and likelihood of failure. The Consultant will prepare a final report including all findings, recommended improvements, and identify a work prioritization schedule over the next ten (10) years. Potential projects identified as a result of this assessment will ultimately be incorporated into the DWP’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
