Repair existing external water supply lines. There is approximately 400 ft of underground piping that shall be replaced, refer to the solicitation attachment for reference. The pipe is located primarily under asphalt. Contractor is responsible for contacting Dig Safe to identify the existing water line locations. Contractor shall saw cut the existing asphalt, perform excavation to expose the existing water line, assess the existing water line and determine where to cut, remove, and tie into a usable section on both ends of the existing line. After the water line is replaced, the contractor is responsible for testing water pressure in the building, to acceptable levels between 40-70 psi. Contractor shall backfill and lay new asphalt to match existing area. The contractor's proposal shall be based on a cost per linear foot of excavation, piping, backfill, and asphalt installation.
