The City of League City is seeking qualified firms to provide Tree Maintenance Services. Work hereunder shall be performed on City property, which may include street rights-of-way, parks, parkways, and other City property. Proposer must conduct operations as to offer the least possible obstruction and inconvenience to the public and shall have under construction no greater length or amount of work than can be performed with due regard to the rights of the public. Proposer shall ensure that all services provided for the City of League City are performed safely and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. In the event that either a natural or manmade disaster, including but not limited to a hurricane or tornado, were to occur during the duration of the contract, the proposer may be contacted by the Agent for the City or his/her designee to assist with the clearing of trees, limbs and root balls, and any debris removal would be eligible for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance.
