Work under this contract shall include the furnishing of all labor, tools, supplies, materials, transportation, supervision, and necessary insurance for a quantity of 49 storm sewer inlet protectors with installation. Vendor is responsible for any road safety or caution signs needed while work is performed. 2.1.14 Maintenance will include the clearing of any debris accumulated around the inlet guards. 2.1.15 All guards should be checked after any “major events” or when a problem is reported. 2.1.16 The guards are made of recycles HDPE. 2.1.17 Inserts and bolts are made of 304 stainless steel. 2.1.18 3/8-inch rods are made of 304 stainless steel protected with heat shrink. 2.1.19 Each guard is custom made for each curb inlet and will vary in dimensions in both length and height. 2.1.20 Installation should begin within 30 days of receipt of the PO. 2.1.21 All work must be completed with 180 days from issuance of PO. 2.1.22 Vendors submitting bids must provide 3 references to verify they have successful experience with similar projects. At least one (1) reference must be from a municipality. 2.1.23 Submission of photos showing previous work is encouraged and may be requested during the review process.
