The City of Ventura invites proposals from qualified providers with experience in program operations, homeless case management and supportive services for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, commencing January 1, 2025. The potential providers should be able to provide a safe, secure, sanitary and welcoming environment in which vulnerable individuals and families experiencing unsheltered homelessness basic needs are met. The potential providers should be able to describe their qualifications and have or develop the capacity to operate the Safe Sleep Program based on the specifications of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The funding sources for program operation, case management and supportive services will come from City Ordinance No. 2016-016, also known as Measure O. However, potential proposers should be able to show the ability to leverage additional funds from other sources outside of the available Measure O allotment.
