The consultant shall coordinate and/or perform a variety of activities related to communications, including the development of a quarterly newsletter, the design of fliers and infographics, and the writing of content for the City’s website. The consultant shall ensure all materials are culturally competent and in appropriate languages. Deliverables: The consultant shall provide, at minimum, the following project deliverables, including the items listed in the Scope of Service: • A quarterly newsletter for the Central Massachusetts Regional Public Health Alliance (CMRPHA). The consultant will be responsible for layout, design, sourcing and drafting stories, and proofreading. • Updating of WDPH-related content on the City’s website on an ongoing basis. • A review of current messaging related to emergencies or extreme weather and updating or drafting templates, as needed. Content shall be dynamic, and able to be shared through multiple media channels, including radio spots, social media posts, and press releases. • Review printed materials and PowerPoint presentations for WDPH staff prior to publication to ensure alignment with the City’s policies and standards, in relation to content and design (including fonts, logos, the City seal, etc.). • Creation and/or review of fliers for social media, community events, and promotional campaigns. • Management of social media accounts for the City’s Health and Human Services Department/WDPH, to include the creation/management of social media campaigns, and the monitoring of comments.
