Contractor will provide the following: • Create a pre-recorded video series for USBE Prevention’s full use, including on its website/YouTube channel and any other distribution. A release of copyright to USBE will be required of the vendor. • The videos will provide an overview of what Protective factors are, why building protective factors is important for student success, and approaches that education staff can use to build protective factors in students. • The resources will highlight Utah schools, identified by the USBE prevention team, that are doing exemplary work in building protective factors and will demonstrate how protective factors and skills developed through protective factor work are helping students in Utah be successful. • These videos will be applicable and made available to a wide audience, including LEAs, parents, students, USBE staff, and the general public. The content developed would be owned by USBE and could then be modified for other audiences. • There will be six (6) videos created, one overview video and then one for each of the five protective factors. Videos will be 5 to 10 minutes in length. • The prevention team will collaborate with and approve all content provided by the contractor before payment. • Pre-recorded videos will be completed and given to the USBE Prevention Section by June 30, 2025.
