Cleveland ISD is seeking proposals from qualified firms and/or individuals for PLC services to promote an effective Professional Learning Community at each campus with the aim of increased student learning and improved teaching. Successful offeror(s) shall, at a minimum, provide: A variety of ongoing professional development and learning products focused on providing district and campus leaders with the opportunity to continue developing their capacity for continuous improvement in transforming their respective school or district office into a Professional Learning Community; A standard curriculum focused on next steps for campus leaders in developing an effective PLC on each campus. Focus should include but not be limited to developing a belief of continuous improvement and learning for all students, teachers and administrators by: defining a PLC; instilling a clear focus on learning and being results driven; developing and maintaining collaboration within the school community; year-round intervention strategies for student success; instructional learning for students, teachers, and administrators; providing pedagogy principles and theory to help students learn and teachers present information in a clear and consicise format; providing professional help for students with all forms of learning disabilities; providing professional help, coaching, training for students in art, music, drama, sports, and other fields that help the student gain better understand, growth, and training; providing necessary medical and or legal help for students in order to help with their learning and providing teachers and administrator with training that will make them better teachers, administrators.
