The City of Fitchburg is looking to replace multiple Police duty weapons, along with some necessary equipment. A list of all itemized equipment can be found in the required forms section of the solicitation. The City also has 100 Units of Glock G23 Gen 4 handguns that will be traded in for credit towards this purchase. Vendors are expected to request time to view trade-in items when calculating trade-in value in order to provide a firm appraisal when bidding. The successful contractor(s) shall maintain adequate protection of the delivered ammunition to the Cooperative from any theft, vandalism and harm arising in connection with the delivery of bid items and shall pay or cause payment to be made for any such damage incurred as result of negligence on the part of the contractor.
