1. MATERIALS – For compatibility and continuity purposes, the following specific manufacturers, styles, and types of materials will be required for this project. A. Rain Bird Falcon Heads B. 2” Schedule 40 PVC Lines C. 1” Spears Schedule 80 Swing Joints D. 2” PEB Series Rain Bird Sprinkler Valves E. 1” Rain Bird R44 Quick Couplers F. Rain Bird 40 Station Clock Controller(s) on a Pedestal (ESP-SAT or Newer) G. 13-Strand Wire H. 2-Wire Direct Burial Maxi Cable I. 2” Curb Stops J. Valve Boxes, Unspecified 2. INSTALLATION – The successful Bidder shall be required to perform services pursuant to the following specifications. A. Sprinkler heads shall be installed at a 50’ head-to-head distance in a manner so as to ensure overlapping sprinkler coverage of all grassy areas. B. Each station (sprinkler valve) shall feed a total of six (6) sprinkler heads. C. Each section shall contain a total of one (1) sprinkler valve. D. A trencher must be used to install all sprinkler lines at a depth between 12-14 inches. E. No cuts shall be made to the paved roadways. Bidder shall be required to bore under paved roadways where necessary. F. Sprinkler system shall connect to preexisting two-inch stub-outs. G. Power tie-in shall be made from the existing power at the Brady Chapel and ran to the controller(s) using 120V. H. Newly installed controller(s) shall connect back to the existing controller in Section 35E, near plot #101, using 120V.
