Procurement of a 45’ x 210’ metal structure with a base package of steel construction and a standing seam metal roof. The structure in general shall be open on four sides as depicted in the sketch in the appendix; however, multiple proposals with varying aesthetics are requested as outlined in item 2 below. Submit three bid alternatives with metal structures with varying aesthetics. The alternatives should be: Bid alternative 1: Base structure with simple aesthetic. Bid alternative 2: Base structure with improved aesthetic. Bid alternative 3: Base structure with superior aesthetic. Examples of improved and superior aesthetics include but are not limited to: Decorative stone bases and wraps Skylights, windows and glass roofs Gables and cupolas Arches Upgrades such as wood beams Offset roof levels Ceiling fans Installation of the procured metal structure at the proposed location per the approved specifications. Survey and construction layout as necessary to verify the dimensions and locations for the installation of the metal structure as shown in Exhibit A in the Appendix. Relocation or removal of two power poles in the parking lot medians. This will include working with the relevant utility for relocation or removal. Please provide a separate line item cost as a bid alternative for utility work and relocation.
