- Furnish and Install One (1) American Standard/Trane** 5 Ton, 16 SEER, 2 Stage 1 Phase Outdoor Condensing Unit - Install One (1) American Standard/Trane** 100,000 BTU variable speed gas furnace with 2 stage heating - Install One (1) American Standard/Trane** 5 Ton Horizontal Slab Evaporator Coil Coated with Heresite. - Install one (1) American Standard/Trane** Digital Thermostat with Humidity Set Point and Controls to Dehumidify Space. - Fabricate and install new sheet metal transition and supply plenum including stainless steel safety drain pan. - Fabricate sheet metal canvas connector for both supply and return of gas furnace. - Furnish and install adequate decking around service area of equipment with 5/8” plywood. This decking should start at the attic access to equipment. - Furnish and install double wall vent pipe through roof patch with cap and storm collar. - Furnish and install new smoke detector, safety pan switch and digital wall thermostat with humidity set point. - Supply and install new four (4) foot fluorescent light in attic above new equipment. - Route new condensate drain line to nearest plumbing stack and insulate pipe with ¾” rubbertex. - Route new R-8 flex to each supply grille box. - Route new refrigerant line set and control wire. Outdoor wire shall be routed to conduit. - Replace outdoor disconnect box with commercial style side arm. Disconnect fuses and electrical whip. - HEPA vacuum existing return box and coat with Fosters 40/20. - All duct shall be properly strapped. - All exterior copper shall be covered with metal shield to match exterior trim color. - Contractor shall balance air to each grille to satisfy human comfort using flow hood.
