A) The intent of this work is to build a road legal fish transportation tank truck (fish truck), for top loading fish and water at one location though a top port via water‐ to‐water or fish to water transfer and releasing fish and water at another location through a bottom/rear release valve. The entire operation shall be in a manner as automated as possible and with no harm to fish. Truck will be able to transport fish and water a minimum of 100 miles from point of origin. The truck will be fitted with the most recent technology in fish transport life support systems, to meet or exceeded fish transport protocol. B) The tank and truck will be sized to be able to haul 900 gallons for full loads, 650gallons for lighter loads and empty when not transporting fish and water. Total water weight for 900 gallons is 7,510 lbs. The tank‐truck unit shall meet all weight and size requirements in accordance with ICC regulations and State Transportation regulations for Oregon and Washington without benefit of a special permit. C) We will deliver the truck to be used in this build to Washington Oregon or Idaho to the winning bidder. D) The truck consists of a basic cab and chassis with frame rails. The total weight of the bare cab/chassis will be 7,310. E) Total weight of completed truck with accessories should not exceed 13,000 pounds unloaded. Total GVWR of the truck is 22,000 lbs.
