Project consist of the interior renovation of an existing space formerly used for the HEB store administration area to become the new Emergency Operation Center for the Webb County. The existing space is a constructed of precast concrete panels and double T concrete beams. The project is 3,400 s. f. and includes demolition of interior walls and ceilings, removal of electrical, mechanical, sound and existing plumbing systems. The new space will include offices (2), restrooms, both male and female, reception and lounge area, conference/meeting rooms with a prep. Area, and service spaces such as server, janitor’s closet, storage, electrical/mechanical rooms. New construction will be mostly metal studs with painted gyp. Board for interior partitions. ACT panels at ceiling, tile on restrooms floor and wall. Gyp board ceilings at restroom and some other areas to cover existing concrete beams. Carpet will cover most of the space. Wood doors and glass doors. LED lighting throughout the space. The Conference/Meeting room will include screens mounted on walls and all the necessary data and electrical requirements. The space is already provided with the required number of exits, door hardware will be updated. The space will receive entirely new Mechanical and Electrical distribution systems.
